We are so excited to be coordinating Simply Shopping’s Small Business Saturday!

We have combined 3 of our favorite things….event coordinating, shopping and small businesses!

As a small business ourselves, we know it’s difficult to get your name out there, to try and shout from the roof tops “I’m here!” We also know so many great small businesses that have amazing products and services to share.

So we started to think Small Business Saturday, as designated by American Express is
the Saturday after Thanksgiving- that weekend where everyone is starting their holiday shopping with special deals at the malls and outlets. …How great would it be if local small businesses in the Central Jersey area can have their own shopping mall for that weekend!!

Walking for an Angel


Everyone has a cause that is near and dear to their hearts. And we at Simply Platinum are on a mission to make a difference in the Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s. Every year in September, we participate in the Alzheimer’s New Jersey South Regional walk and take another step to advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer’s and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.

Three years ago, I was checking a shared email box at work and read an email about the upcoming walk. I knew I needed to not only learn more but join the walk. When I got home, I set up the team, called the family and began our tradition to walk in honor of our Yiayia.

It is very special to us because our Yiayia (grandma) Ria, passed away on December 27, 2003 from Alzheimer’s. Continue reading “Walking for an Angel”

So we have been doing a lot of thinking and coordinating and more thinking and some more coordinating and even more thinking till we realized we are really good at coordinating and truly LOVE it!

Why does your wedding need a website?

You’re engaged and you have a long list of planning items. There’s so much to do, so many vendors to book, dates to confirm, gowns to buy, colors to pick, décor to choose and the last item you’re thinking about is a website. You obviously know you need to send out invitations and that’s how your guests will know when and where the celebration is.
